Cosmetic Restoration

Skin Micropigmentation is a non-surgical cosmetic technique of tattooing using micropigments into the skin, replicating the natural look of skin features. Unlike traditional tattoos where the artwork is the central focus, paramedical skin micropigmentation focus on camouflaging and concealing defects, while the focus is on the mixing and blending of colors to make it match and blend with your natural skin. While there are some similarities to traditional tattoos, there are also many big differences. The types of pigments are very different as well as the needles used. I always say we’re in the business of making people feel great in there own skin. These procedures are highly rewarding for both client and artist.

AREOLA RESTORATION

AREOLA RESTORATION IS A SOFT AND HYPER REALISTIC, NON-INVASIVE PERMANENT WORK OF ART.

Areola/nipple tattoos are becoming an increasingly popular option among women who’ve undergone breast reconstruction surgery after cancer.

While breast reconstruction typically does not include the areola or nipple, a restorative hyper realistic areola tattoo is the way to go, to achieve the most realistic end result and complete the process of reconstruction.

The phenomenon of optical illusion is frequently used in both cosmetic and medical makeup. By playing with form, color, and pattern, it’s possible to create the most beautiful areolas achieving remarkably realistic effects with a highly convincing illusion of reality.

Why get a tattoo?

The traumatic experience of breast loss is often the beginning of a difficult recovery, physical appearance can have a powerful impact on people’s lives. It can enhance your self-confidence or destroy your self-esteem.

This procedure creates a tremendous opportunity in the recovery process, the primary purpose of breast reconstruction is not only to enhance the aesthetic appearance, but also to provide mental relief, improve the sense of wellbeing, and to raise the quality of life.

Clients that have gone through areola/nipple restoration have a sense of the physical and mental wellbeing improving and normalizing the physical appearance and reclaiming what the disease has deprived, gaining back what was taken and empowering ones self confidence and self esteem.

A successful reconstruction procedure can minimize virtually all imperfections and help a client steadily forget about the disease, regain functional disposition, rebuild self confidence and a positive body image.

Restorative areola tattoo procedure is incredibly personal and highly rewarding for both client and artist.

When can I get a tattoo?

Before getting a tattoo your operation sites need to be completely healed. This may take up to a year but it can be longer. You should have also finished any chemotherapy or radiotherapy treatment.

The process:

Scars are always assessed and treated if they’re in the area, prior to starting restorative tattoo.

What are the risks of getting a tattoo?

Tattoo artists should always use sterile equipment and fresh needles.

Risks include:

  • infection

  • changing your mind – it’s possible to get tattoos removed but it’s expensive and can be very painful

  • the colour (pigment) fading – this can sometimes happen over time. It’s best to avoid swimming or sunbathing for two weeks after having a tattoo to reduce the likelihood of this happening. You can use sunscreen on your tattoo to help reduce fading

The tattooed area may be swollen and possibly red but this should go away over time.
If any redness or swelling doesn’t go away and you develop a high temperature or feel feverish you may have an infection. If you think you have an infection contact your doctor as soon as possible as you may need a course of antibiotics.

SCALP MICROPIGMENTATION FOR WOMEN & MEN

We use micro-needles to insert pigment into the skin to replicate individual hair follicles and or hair strokes. This helps thinning hair look more dense, restores hairline and gives the look of a fuller appearance through long hair & short hair.

Scalp Micropigmentation is the only 100% effective solution for hair loss including thinning hair, hairline recession, pattern baldness, alopecia, and hair transplant scarring.

Scalp Micropigmentation is a non-invasive treatment that uses detailed micro-needles to deposit pigment into the scalp. The result creates the appearance of tiny hair follicles and or hairstrokes that help thicken and restore the look of fuller hair. If you are starting to thin, recede, or if you are completely bald, we can give you the look of a short buzz cut or add in hairstrokes where necessary to create the illusion of density.

When administered by a trained and licensed specialist, the Scalp Micropigmentation treatment can restore receded hairlines, thicken remaining hair, camouflage transplant scarring, and create the look of close-cropped hair.
Scalp Micropigmentation is also effective for those suffering from minor hair thinning or recession.

By accurately replicating your own natural hair follicles or hairstrokes accessing hair color, scalp micropigmentation can help strengthen and add density to thinning areas, creating an undetectable illusion of thicker, stronger hair.

Scalp pigmentation requires little to no continued maintenance and carries no strict lifestyle or daily restrictions. Our techniques replicates the look of fuller more dense hair lines and or a buzz cut, fresh out of the barbershop.

Microblading Chico artist Ashley allows you to fully customize your treatment, with input on hairline design, style preferences, and final goals.

Tattoo Removal

How does tattoo removal work?

Through a specially-formulated process, the lightening solution bonds with ALL permanent makeup pigments and tattoo inks resulting in a tattoo removal procedure that is NON-color dependent unlike that of laser which is color dependent. This, in turn, greatly increases the potential for successful tattoo removal and decreases the overall number of treatment sessions required (as compared to what is frequently required when using the laser technique).

The Removal System is similar to the original tattoo procedure. The solution is applied using a tattoo over procedure. Instead of implanting ink or pigment, the specially-formulated solution bonds with the original tattoo and then draws the ink to the skin’s surface. The solution implanted into tissue the same way tattoo inks and permanent makeup pigments are implanted in tissue using a tattoo or permanent make-up machine.

This treatment can be utilized on permanent make-up on most areas of the body. The treatment is not color selective (unlike laser) and is effective on all color inks and pigments. In addition, the solution also contains a scar-inhibiting product which helps to minimize or prevent scarring.

Does it Hurt?

The treatment is very similar to being tattooed. We apply topical anesthetic to numb the skin prior to treatment (if required).

How long does a treatment take?

A treatment takes around 30 to 45 minutes to cover a 2” x 2” tattoo (4 square inch area).

How soon will I see results?

The most extraordinary thing about this process is that you will actually get to see the results in just a few days. After the treatment, the area must be kept dry for 48 hours during which a scab will form over the treated area. It is likely that parts of the tattoo will be almost completely erased on just the first treatment. Many tattoos require more than one treatment; however, the results are very impressive and a tattoo can be completely removed in just a matter of months, compared with the extended period of time one must dedicate to having a tattoo removed with a laser.
